Goals and objectives
In this course you will further deepen your understanding and applications of enterprise ontology and enterprise engineering, according to DEMO (Design and Engineering Methodology for Organizations), and prepare for the DEMO-4 Professional Exam. In the expert course we will cover:
- Theory:
- Things and facts and how to discern them
- Meta modeling
- Generic system development process
- Modeling:
- Deepdive in all DEMO model aspects, with a focus on consistency between products, responsibilities, processes, information and business rules
- Enterprise Architecture Principles and their impact on design and implementation
At the end of this training you will be able to:
- Make a complete and consistent essential model of your organization (all DEMO model aspects)
- Take the DEMO-4 Professional Exam
The modeling exercises can be carried out with your own case, so that you take home valuable insights of applying DEMO. The course includes many practical examples in applying DEMO, such as the assignment of actor roles to organizational units and people and the creation of a blueprint for your ICT.
Practical details
The course in our own calendar is offered at a rate of €1.400* ex VAT, and includes one exam session. There is a minimum of four and a maximum of twelve participants. In case of less registrations, the course may be moved to another date. In case of more registrations, participants may be moved to a next session. Contact days will be held in the Utrecht region; the exact location will be communicated approx. 2 weeks before the first day of the course.
* If you take the Expert training within 12 months after completing the Essentials training, you will receive a discount of €200.
Course materials will be in English. Spoken language depends on the participants: Dutch when possible, English when needed. This training will be delivered by a certified DEMO Lecturer with practical experience. We expect you to do some reading work before the first day of the training, and to prepare a case to work with.
