Is your Mendix application landscape growing? Are you struggling to plan deployments during off-hours? Do you need audit trail on all of your deployment?

Compose your pipelines to automate deployments

With Centralized Environment to Deploy Application Reliably (CEDAR) you can easily compose pipelines to automatically deploy your Mendix applications.

  • When the pipeline is activated, you can lay back while the engine automatically deploys your applications to your cloud environments.
  • Quality checks and automated tests are easily integrated into your pipelines.
  • You save money on expensive and error-prone nightly deployments, and reduce risks by automating the deployment process.

CEDAR makes deployments as easy as developing Mendix applications.

Key features

  • Easily compose your pipelines from basic steps:
    • Start or stop an environment
    • Build and transfer a deployment package
    • Make a complete snapshot of an environment
(includes deployment package, environment variables, scheduled events, database and files)
    • Start an automated test
    • Automatically perform a rollback when something unexpected happens
  • Plan single or repeated runs of your pipeline
  • A complete audit log of all deployment activities can be exported

Pricing

Pricing is based upon the number of applications you want to compose pipelines for. The tiered pricing model accomodates both smaller and larger application landscapes from a few deployments per month to multiple per day.

Integrations

  • Mendix public cloud
  • Mendix unit test (in development)
  • Menditect Test Automation (requires separate license)
  • QSM and other quality assurance tools (in development)

CEDAR provides an API to schedule runs from other tools such as JIRA

Deployment options

We can offer different deployment possibilities:

  1. You use the multi-tenant SaaS version
  2. You get a dedicated instance as SaaS (additional charges are applicable)
  3. You host CEDAR on your own environment (you need to bring the Mendix license)
